Energy constantly surrounds us, from the people we interact with to the environments or spaces we are in. We can not avoid energy!, but we can learn how to work with it. You don’t need to be a medium or intuitive to tune into or read energy. Energy awareness is a skill that anyone can learn and develop and it can be used in many ways, here are a few:
Navigating Relationships: Your body communicates signals that can help you navigate relationships, always pay attention to how you feel physically and emotionally when interacting with others!. If you notice any feelings of anxiety, fear, heaviness or a gut feeling something is ‘off’ when you’re around a specific person, it may indicate that person isn't aligning with your energy for whatever reasons. Feelings or a sense of calm, peace, or safety when you’re around someone may mean you have a more positive connection with them.
Reading The Room: Pay attention to the atmosphere or ‘vibe’ when you enter a crowded room. Feel the energy of the people around you and the overall mood of the space. Notice if you feel any tension, anxiety, excitement, or calmness, these feelings may help guide your interactions and decisions in that environment.
Everyday Decisions: From minor to major life decisions, energy may be used as a guide. Practice tuning in to the energy that is around when you are faced with a decision, do you feel excitement or calm around the decision, or fear and anxiety?, you could even have a gut feeling or intuition about the decision and the path you should take. Tuning into the energy around decisions may help lead you toward choices that are in alignment with your highest good.
Emotional Well Being: Energy awareness may also help to enhance your emotional well being by helping you to recognize and release negative energy around you, or even negative energy patterns in your life. Start by just observing the energy around you without judgment. Practice mindfulness or other energy clearing techniques such as meditation, or spending time in nature. By regularly clearing away any stagnant energy around you and replenishing with positive energy, it may help you to maintain a balanced and harmonious state of being.
Career Choices: If you're contemplating career choices, it may be helpful to pay attention to how you feel when envisioning yourself in a job or career. Do you feel excited and energized, or do you sense a heaviness and resistance?. Trusting these energetic cues may help lead you toward a path that aligns with your passions and purpose.
