Have you ever wondered why so many kids have the ability to see spirits?, have visions of the future?, see auras?, or even recall their past lives?. Many people tell me their children see their deceased loved ones, or display psychic abilities. It's really not uncommon for kids to have these experiences, leaving adults curious and sometimes scared. But what lies behind kids' connections to the spiritual realm?. Here are some of my thoughts:
- Children have a natural openness that allows them to tap into energies beyond the physical world. Their minds are not burdened by skepticism or societal conditioning, making them more receptive to subtle energies and spiritual experiences.
- They naturally have vivid imaginations and are highly creative. This imaginative and creative capacity enables children to perceive and interact with the spiritual world that is invisible to many adults.
- Kids have a stronger connection to their intuition and inner wisdom. Their lack of preconceived notions allow them to trust their instincts and embrace the unseen. This connection enables them to sense the presence of spirits and tap into their psychic abilities.
- As we grow older, our minds become more cluttered with responsibilities and distractions. Kids minds are not cluttered like adults, giving them the ability to tune in to their surroundings. Their minds act as open channels, making it easier for them to perceive the presence of the afterlife around them.
- Children are more connected to their spiritual or psychic abilities because they are still closely tied to the spiritual realm they came from before birth. It is much easier for them to perceive the afterlife or be in tune with their psychic abilities as they have not been on the earth for long. Some children lose this connection, their abilities fade as they grow older and become more involved with life in this world, and some carry their spiritual abilities the rest of their life. Many even tap into these abilities again as adults.
I find most of the time, the spirits kids see and communicate with are their passed family members. Many even describe details about family members who passed away before they were born with accuracy. They will often talk about the passed family member communicating with them, or even helping them in some way. Sometimes a grandparent may pass away before their grandchild is born, death does not stop them from having a relationship with their grandchild.
I always tell parents to approach their kids' spiritual abilities with an open mind and supportive attitude, and don't pass any fears or doubts you may have onto them. Take comfort from your deceased loved ones retaining a connection to your children and your life.
